You can use a morph ability to cast a card from any zone from which you could normally play it. When the spell resolves, it enters the battlefield with the same characteristics the spell had. The morph effect applies to the face-down object wherever it is, and it ends when the permanent is turned face up.
Accordingly, can creatures turned face down with Ixidron be turned face up?
You can turn them face up, if you have a means to turn them face up. Ixidron itself doesn’t provide such means, but morph and megamorph do. Ixidor, Reality Sculptor can turn them face up as well. If a nonmorph card is turned face down by Ixidron, there is no inherent way to turn it face up again.
Similarly, can you counter split second?
Split second does not prevent the spell from being countered by triggered abilities. One such example is Voidmage Apprentice. Decree of Silence can also counter cards with split second. Split second won’t affect spells and abilities that are already on the stack.
Can you morph at any time?

Can you stifle a morph?
1) Yes, a creature played face-down is still a creature spell, and can be countered with Remove Soul or Essence Scatter. 2) Unmorphing a creature is not an activated ability, and therefore cannot be countered with Stifle. 3) No. Casting a creature for its morph cost is not an activated ability either.
Do creatures lose counters when turned face-down?
If the face-down creature has any counters on it, those remain on the face-up permanent. It’s not a new object, and it doesn’t enter the battlefield just by turning face up. Any Auras or Equipment attached to it remain attached to it after it turns face up.
Do morph abilities go on the stack?
Morph does not use the stack, but triggered abilities do. You cannot respond to morph, but you can respond to abilities that trigger whenever a creature is turned face-up.
Do morph creatures count as tokens?
No. Both the morph and manifest abilities that allow you to have a face-down permanent apply only to cards (morph works on creature cards in your hand, and manifest on cards from your library).
Do morph creatures have summoning sickness?
A creature with morph fully obeys this rule. If you cast a creature and then morph it on the same turn – it will suffer from summoning sickness. If you morph it during next turns and you didn’t lose control of it – it won’t suffer from summoning sickness and will be able to attack or use “tap” activated abilities.
Do morphs count as colorless spells?
The act of turning this creature face-up (morphing) is NOT a colorless spell but a special action.
Do you cast morph cards?
Morph is an ability that lets you pay 3 to cast the card face-down. While the card is face-down, it is a 2/2 creature with no name, color, creature type, abilities, mana cost, etc. The converted mana cost of a face-down creature is 0 since it has no mana cost. Morph is only an option if you’re casting the spell.
Does Animar affect evoke cost?
Does Animar, soul of element’s +1/+1 counters reduce the evoke cost of creatures such as mulldrifter? Evoke is an alternate cost, but still a cost so yes.
How do you use a hooded Hydra?
Hooded Hydra enters the battlefield with X +1/+1 counters on it. When Hooded Hydra dies, put a 1/1 green Snake creature token onto the battlefield for each +1/+1 counter on it. As Hooded Hydra is turned face up, put five +1/+1 counters on it.
How does indestructible work in MTG?
702.12a Indestructible is a static ability. 702.12b A permanent with indestructible can’t be destroyed. Such permanents aren’t destroyed by lethal damage, and they ignore the state-based action that checks for lethal damage (see rule 704.5g).
